Daily Hair Routine
My mother used to tell people I was blessed with a full head of hair when I was born. Well, having super thick hair can feel more like a curse than a blessing sometimes, especially when it comes to everyday washing and styling.

Everyone wants what they don't have — when I was younger, I'd spend hours flat-ironing my hair until it was pin-straight. Finally, I've learned to embrace my hair's natural wave and make my life easier.
These are my go-to tools every day. My trusty hairdryer that I've had since college, a wide-tooth comb for detangling, and a round ceramic brush. And of course you can never have too many scrunchies!
My biggest secret? Hair rollers. Yep, just like your grandmother used to wear. The best part about these wide Velcro rollers is that they're self-gripping, and don't require clips. I use them on dry, smooth sections of hair, and roll them toward the scalp for about 15 minutes to lock in the style. Voila, heat-free volume at the root that will last all day!
